Annnnnnd we’re back with part two! As promised, I’m bringing you my Sephora VIB Sale Wishlist. If you read and stuck with part one, I appreciate you! If not, be sure to check it out here!
Here’s a reminder that the Sephora VIB Holiday Sale this year runs from November 5th – November 15th, 2021. It usually runs in tiers, as specified below
- Rouge Members receive 20% off from the November 5th – 15th.
- VIB members receive 15% off from November 9th – 15th.
- Beauty Insiders receive 10% off from November 11th – 15th.
This year, all Beauty Insiders will be also given 30% off of Sephora Collection. (Do not sleep on Sephora Collection! They have some gems.)
My makeup wishlist + repurchases are rather long this year, so let’s get started..
Also, for reference I have oily, hormonal acne prone skin. (Lucky me!)
Repurchases
Urban Decay Ultra Matte Makeup Setting Spray – US$33.00
When I tell you your makeup doesn’t move with this…believe me, it’s kinda insane. It has a light mist (that’s not continuous) and legit sets your makeup for hours. Very long lasting. I’d only recommend this if you’re extremely oily. *add to cart*
Wishlist
Brace yourselves for A LOT of blush…
Patrick Ta Major Headlines Blush Palette – US$58.00
As I’m writing this, the palette is out of stock and I’m praying that it comes back in time for the sale. Do you see those colors?! This is mixture of both powder and cream blushes, both of which are on trend right now. I own one powder blush from the brand and it’s my go to! It isn’t extremely powdery, as well as it wears well throughout the day. *add to cart*
Huda Beauty GloWish Cheeky Vegan Blush Powder – US$21.00
I would really love to try this formula, preferably in the shade Caring Coral. Honestly it just looks really pretty, and personally I think Huda doesn’t miss. *add to cart*
LYS Beauty Higher Standard Satin Matte Cream Blush – US$16.00
The colors and the texture of these blushes, ugh! I can’t wait to get my hands on one of these. This is also a highly raved about black owned brand that was recently added to Sephora within the last year. I have high hopes! *buy now*
Makeup By Mario Pro Volume Lip Gloss – US$22.00
Samantha Jane convinced me I needed this! She originally recommended the color Mauve Nude and while I do love that shade, I think Rose Nude is more for me, without being similar to everything else I own. To be honest, I would buy all Mario’s blushes and lipglosses if I had the all the money in the world. I’ve heard such a great reviews, and just finally want to experience it for myself. *add to cart*
Dior Backstage Face & Body Foundation – US$40.00
My cousin raves about this, so now I need it right? I’m on the hunt for wedding foundations – at least that’s what I’m blaming it on. I’ve found two I really like so far. Crossing my fingers and toes that this is perfection. *add to cart*
Lancome Teint Idole Ultra Wear All Over Full Coverage Concealer – US$29.00
I’ve tried the foundation in this range several tim, and I continue to love it. Figured it was time to give the concealer a try. Did I mention I’m on the hunt for bomb wedding makeup? *adds to cart*
Patrick Ta Major Brow Lamination Gel – US$26.00
Sabrina Marie Jay (love herrr) mentioned this is perfection, and we seem to have similar taste in makeup. I currently use the ABH Brow Freeze and while I love it, overtime the formula has changed a bit. This product seems to be more of a one stop shop. I’m still deciding if it absolutely need. *saved for later*
Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat Lip Liner – US$22.00
I’m obsessed with lip pencils in general! With the mask mandate in Trinidad & Tobago still looming over me (it’s fine, I’m fine), I’ve only been wearing lip pencils and lipglosses. I have quite high expectations when it comes to Ms. Tilbury’s products, as I own a few (more to come on this). These pencils specifically, known to be quite creamy, easy to glide on and long lasting. I want to pick up about two to three shades, but we’ll see what my pockets are saying first.
That’s it!
It’s actually shorter than I expected. I edited my own list for quite some weeks. Here’s the thing, while things have drastically improved during this pandemic, I still don’t go out as freely as I used too, as well as, I’m very mindful of wearing makeup while also wearing a mask. I’ve also given myself as budget, as I previously mentioned.
Remember – you don’t need all the products in the world, and you definitely don’t need to keep up with all the trends! I know blog posts like this seem to suggest otherwise, but believe me when I say it’s not the end of the world if you choose not to update your makeup collection every week. Prioritize and live within your means. It’s something I’m constantly striving to do.
Thank you for reading! If you choose to indulge, please let me know in the comments what’s on your list, and what you’re looking forward to purchasing. Till next time friends
