Sephora VIB Sale Wishlist!

It’s one of the greatest times of year! The SEPHORA VIB SALE is coming!!!

We’re so excited for the Sephora VIB Sale!

Ok, let me cut the drama. Sephora typically has a VIB sale twice a year. If you’re like me, you take this opportunity to buy pricey-er items, or experiment a bit more than usual. I absolutely love prepping my cart for this time of year! I, of course, have done so already and wanted to share what’s on my list with you! In past years, I have done recommendations, but since relaunching, I haven’t done a dedicated wishlist. Let’s finally change that, shall we?

I must admit, I will be including items I’ve previously tried and loved, as I will be also repurchasing those. For your convenience – I will be categorizing products, and also indicate whether it’s new to me or not. As always, I will link each item.

Bodycare and Skincare

Let’s start with repurchases…

Nécessaire – The Body Wash – US$25.00
I’m not gonna lie, I’m kind annoyed I like this. It has become my night time body wash, and it honestly helps me unwind. I am well aware of how ridiculous that sounds, but it’s so true. The ingredients are quite nice, and overtime my skin has become softer, and looks and feels healthier.

I currently own the Eucalyptus scent, which calms me quite a bit. The formula itself is quite silky, and creates a rich latter. Not to mention, a little goes a long way. My intent is to now purchase this body wash in Sandalwood. I still maintain my stance that this is a really nice to have product, but not an absolute necessity. *buy now*

Farmacy Clearly Clean Makeup Removing Cleansing Balm – US$34.00
Possibly my favorite makeup remover ever! I’ve owned and used the cherry scented balm, and while the formula is great, the scent is just a bit too much for me. Farmacy recently released their clean and vegan version and this seems a bit more up my alley as it’s fragrance free. *Definitely going in my cart*

Laneige Water Sleeping Mask – US$25.00
Hello hydration! My skin feels so supple after wearing this all night. I’m a textured gal, but my skin always feels a lot less textured after using this. I’m honestly repurchasing just because of that. Overall however, the formula is a gel like substance that isn’t overly thick, but still quite moisturizing. *adds to cart*

Wishlist

Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow AHA Body Cream – US$28.00
I dream about this lotion. I really wish I was exaggerating, lol. It just looks luxurious, and moisturizing. Not to mention, its watermelon scented?!! Already love, and want. I tried getting it a couple times, and it was sold out. *buy now*

Topicals Faded Serum – US$36.00
I’ve heard such great reviews on this serum, and it made me curious. I have extremely stubborn hyperpigmentation so I’m always willing to try new formulas. It contains niacinamide, tranexamic acid as well as azelaic acid all of which are known to fade scarring. *adds to cart*

Paula’s Choice C15 Vitamin C Super Booster – US$49.00
I’m actually on the fence when it comes to this product. I’ve used two other products from the brand, and I’ve really grown to enjoy them. However the reviews on this particular item are a bit torn, as well as it’s hella pricey for the amount you get. What do you think – yay or nay? Let me know if you’ve used this and your thoughts on it. I’d gladly appreciate it. *save item for later*

The Ordinary Mandelic Acid 10% + HA – US$6.80
I’ve had great results with TO’s products, and this is one more I’d like to add to my list. Mandelic Acid is known to to be great for POC who are acne prone. Once my skincare routine can accommodate it, I’d love to add this to see how it works. The price point is always a motivator! *adds to cart*

Dermalogica Retinol Acne Clearing Oil – US$80.00
Chile, this is essspensive! I have been eyeing this for months, you hear me?! Currently, I can not bring myself to pay full price for this….I just can’t! Ideally i’d love to have a sample to try, but for us who live outside the US, Canada, and other Sephora locations, that’s all but a dream. Now is the only time I can convince myself to indulge.

A combination of retinol and salicylic acid seems great for my skin, however being packaged as an oil is slightly concerning. Would the actives even get past my moisturizer and be absorbed?
Stay tuned… *save for later*

Murad InvisiScar Post Acne Resurfacing Treatment – US$36.00
Murad has always been THAT GIRL for me. I’ve rarely been disappointed with their products and formulas. This product seems great for someone with texture and hyperpigmentation – ie me! I probably would choose to purchase this above the Dermalogica oil. My only concern is the amount of product in this container. *buy now*

Haircare

Wishlist

I rarely buy haircare from Sephora, but I’d like to change that with this purchase!

Olaplex Healthy Hair Essentials – US$60.00
So many people have raved about this brand, and claim it has transformed their hair! I’m currently trying to get myself and hair together for 2022, as it’s a huge year for me. I clearly need to try this, right? *buy now*

Olaplex Products for healthy hair in Sephora VIB Sale
Olaplex Healthy Hair Essentials Set

That pretty much sums up my Sephora VIB Sale wishlist – at least for body, skin and hair!

I know I didn’t cover makeup…yet! It’s safe to say I’m gonna need a part two. Sephora VIB Sale: Makeup Repurchases and Wishlist coming soon! Promise it’ll be in time for the sale! In the meantime, you can check out this blog post for more skincare recommendations!

Here’s a reminder you don’t need everything, especially not all at once!
It really is called a wishlist for a reason. I edit my cart over and over again to make sure I’m within my budget as well as, I honestly ask myself what do I or don’t I need. I’m not competing with anyone at the end of the day, and I’ll continue living within my means. You should too!

Thank you as always for reading, make sure to leave your responses and feedback in the comments!
